CSIR NET Application Form
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This online exam is conducted twice a year in June and December.
Those who qualify for CSIR NET are selected for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor positions, and PhD admissions in Indian universities and colleges. All candidates who have a Master’s degree (M.Sc.), B.Tech, BS-MS, BS (4 years), or B.Sc. (Hons.) are eligible to apply, the upper age limit for JRF candidates is 28 years (with age relaxation), while there is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor or PhD admissions.

How to Fill CSIR NET 2025 Application Form?
Visit the official https://csirnet.nta.ac.in/ website.
Click on “Joint UGC CSIR NET June 2025” from the home page.
It will redirect you to the registration website of CSIR NET 2025.
Use a unique email ID and mobile number to create a new account.
Create your login ID and login.
After login, click on the online apply link and the application form will open.
Enter all the personal, educational etc. details. Now the system generated application number.
Upload documents like
A colour or black-and-white photo with white background and clear visibility (size 10KB – 200KB).
Scanned signature (size 4KB – 30KB).
Education certificate in PDF format.
Category certificate in PDF file (size 50KB – 300KB), if applicable.
PwD certificate in PDF file (size 50KB – 300KB) if applicable. Select your preferred exam center, subject and mode of exam. Make payment using online methods like net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI. Double check all the information and click on submit. Eligibility

- Both Indian and foreign nationals can apply for CSIR NET.
- Unreserved category individuals must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in the master’s degree, while SC/ST/OBC-NCL/Divyangjan candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks.
- The applicant must have a master’s degree or equivalent in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
- The age limit for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is below 28 years. There is no age limit for Lectureship (LS) and PhD admissions. Age relaxation is also applicable for reserved categories.

CSIR NET Exam Date
