- Must be a permanent citizen of Tamil Nadu.
- The age of the applicant should be between 3 to 5 years.
- The beneficiary should be from BPL/ST/SC or an economically poor community.
- The annual income of the beneficiary’s family should not exceed Rs 1.5 lakh per year.
- Parents can apply only for their two children.
- Children of parents falling under Economically Weaker Section, Disadvantaged Group, Disadvantaged Group-Special category are eligible.
- For admission in LKG, the date of birth should be between 1st July 2021 to 31st July 2022.
- For admission in Class 1, the date of birth should be between 31st July 2019 to 31st July 2020.
- Applicants from BC-Other, MBC, ST, SC-Other, SC-Arunthathiyar, OC, DNC (Denotified Community), Social Category (not disclosed) are eligible.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family from all sources should not exceed Rs 2 lakh.
- Preference will be given to children with disabilities, children of sanitation workers and HIV infected people.
