Under the aegis of the Bihar School Examination Board, student admissions to Intermediate schools and colleges are to be conducted through an online system. This online mechanism—known as OFSS (Online Facilitation System for Students), or a simplified system for online admissions—has been developed by the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna. Through this system, students will be able to secure admission to their respective schools or colleges. Students seeking admission to Intermediate classes for the 2026–2028 academic session will utilize the OFSS platform. Admissions for Intermediate subjects across the Arts, Science, and Commerce streams will be granted only at those Intermediate schools or colleges where the necessary facilities for these subjects are available.

Bihar Board has issued notification for OFSS Application Date For OFSS Bihar 11th Admission in BSEB Intermediate Class, the admission process has been scheduled from 08 April 2026 to 25 April 2026.

Students can take admission to Bihar Board Intermediate Class with the help of the online OFSS Portal i:e www.ofssbihar.net. OFSS Inter Admission Application Form can be filled in online mode only on the official website. students have to provide an E-Mail ID and Mobile Number for primary registration.

Prospective students seeking admission to the Bihar Board Intermediate classes must possess a Class 10 (Matriculation) pass certificate from a recognized board. Students who have passed Class 10 from the CBSE or ICSE are also eligible to apply for admission. Students from the Bihar School Examination Board (Patna), the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), or any other state board may apply for enrollment, provided they have successfully passed their Class 10 or equivalent examination from these institutions.
